This afternoon, visit the most famous of all the temples on the Angkor plain: Angkor Wat. The temple complex, cover 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture. Breakfast at your hotel, an early morning we drive out city about 50km with picnic lunch box to the river of the Thousand Lingams is known as – Kbal Spean – the head of the bridge. To get there, after traveling by car, it should take about 45 minutes walking through the jungle before you reach the river that contribute to the irrigation of Angkor. The bed of the river is lavishly sculpted. Numerous lingams lay there, caressed by the crystal-clear waters. On the way back, visit the famous Banteay Srei (Citadel of Women).
